Do you ever wish you could revisit and redesign the classics? There’s something almost sacred about the iconic classic NES design, but it is admittedly just a little boring. Designer Javier Segovia took it upon himself to give the original Nintendo Entertainment System a slightly more modern re-do in this rendering.

Smoothing out the corners and giving the system a new color scheme, Segovia keeps the console’s basic shape and identifying characteristics but makes it look like a gaming system that would be sold today. Gone are the painfully sharp corners and gray-on-white color scheme, but the concept keeps the boxy controllers that so many of us grew up with.
