London artist Benedict Radcliffe is up to his old tricks again with a new wireframe art installation that's part of a recent collaboration with Land Rover.
The installation, a life-size piece of art based on the new Range Rover Evoque, was specially created to coincide with the Geneva Motor Show as a part of their "Pulse of the City" campaign. The three dimensional installation is made entirely of steel and is bent, formed, welded together, filed down, powder coated, and painted in a myriad of bright colors.
"The traditional concept of the wireframe created a huge buzz in 2010, but this is the perfect opportunity to dig a little deeper into the intricate design detail of the Range Rover Evoque," says Radcliffe. "People can't help but get involved with the sculptures and interact with them and I can't wait to see how the installation is received."
