Projectors do not really make headline news for one reason – they aren’t terribly interesting, with the only notable improvement being the brightness level as well as the recent availability of stereoscopic 3D or perhaps even wireless capability. Well, that doesn’t mean we should shove the projector category aside, as some corporate suits as well as home theater buffs do want to read up on this from time to time. Today, we have the new IN5120 series of projectors from InFocus, where they will comprise of the IN5122 (XGA, 1024 x 768) and IN5124 (WXGA, 1280 x 800) models. Both of them are capable of offering life-like colors and a deep grayscale depth thanks to inorganic LCDs, with the IN5120 series deliver organizations of all sizes high-performance projection and impressive connectivity and collaboration features – all with a price that will have your superiors smile at your savviness in making purchases which offer the company a great bang-for-their-buck.

To sum it up, “affordable LCD capability” is what these two projectors offer, being easy to install and boasting the ability to be maintained in a wide range of conference rooms, training rooms and classrooms. Both the IN5122 and IN5124 can be installed on a wall or ceiling in a jiffy thanks to their low-profile design, while sitting on a table or media cart is also a snap, and since they’re easy to move around, it makes them even more cost effective if you’re running on a really tight budget at the moment. Both horizontal and vertical lens shift are thrown into the mix, not to mention corner correction that enables the IN5120 series to project crisp, square images in nearly any room.

The new IN5120 series will come with 4,000 lumens of brightness, creating bright, high-impact images up to 110 diagonal inches (2.79 m) that makes them suitable to use even in well-lit rooms. In addition, a couple of IN5120 projectors can be stacked on top of each other for nearly twice the lumens, now how about that! Having a 5,000 hour lamp life would mean years of worry-free operation, which by then, it should be due for an upgrade anyways. The IN5122 (XGA, 1024 x 768) and IN5124 (WXGA, 1280 x 800) models can be sitting pretty in your organization or home for $2999 and $3999, respectively.
