The X-Frame electric folding car is here to taking the compact cars to the next level of innovation to solve large city transportation problems. Unveiled at the Good Design Expo 2010 in Japan, this green concept is not only capable of changing its shape to suit different environments and speeds, but also folds up vertically for compact storage.
Designed by researchers at the Nagoya Institute of Technology, the X-Frame is powered by a replaceable electric battery residing in the vehicle’s large orange rear wheel. It comes as an ingenious solution to the car parking problems in the urban areas. The cute little X-Frame reduces both your carbon footprint and your parking bills.
