The Walnut Player, conceived by industrial designer YuKwang Kang, works on the above-cited principle to gather enough of renewable electricity to produce sweetest tunes for visually impaired audiophiles. The concept MP3 player features two spherical pieces that charge an onboard battery when rubbed or rolled in user’s hand.
While making its user to comprehend Braille writing, Walnut Player generates energy when he/she presses the sole button or the entire device with finger. Same movement is applied to change tracks and adjust speaker volume.
