Picture this. Circa 2021. The world is driven by automation. Every activity from the time you open our eyes in the morning till the time you hit the bed at night is controlled by automation. The effect of automation is most visible and palpable in the field of automobiles reducing commuting and traveling to minutes from hours. The cars come in innumerable range of designs and in extraordinary shapes and sizes. Lo and behold! Catching your fancy and your eyes is a car which runs only on three wheels. And it’s called the ‘Supersonic’.

No, it’s not a three wheeler. It’s a full-fledged car that runs on three wheels instead of four. Hard to believe but imagine if such a car does really take shape, then it will one of the greatest breakthroughs of the modern world and the world of automobiles will change forever.

Brainchild of Marko Lukovic, the car has sleek, aerodynamic and stealthy shape making it look simply out of the world for sure. Just for your knowledge, the artists in 20’s and 30’s envisioned a future where automobiles borrowed heavily from the railroad and airline industries, but were unable to achieve their dream. Though they might not have succeeded in building such an astonishing car, it seems Marko has succeeded in turning their dream into a reality by designing it and presenting his creation to the world. Well, here’s a low-down on Marko’s incredible ‘Supersonic’ invention.

The cockpit of the car is totally driver oriented. The car gets its power from 2 electric motors in the rear wheels. The front end has a single wheel. The Supersonic has removable batteries. The batteries are compact enough to take with you indoors. Now, you can charge the car wherever you like. The most dramatic feature of the car is the photo sensitive liquid crystal canopy. It darkens and lightens for privacy and to control cabin temperatures.
