Enjoying the comfort of a luxurious home in the lap of nature is the life anyone would dream of living. Promising the ultimate ecstasy is Foster and Partners who have collaborated with d’Unienville and Associates Architects to design an eco-friendly masterplan for a series of residences in Corniche Bay, Mauritius. The contemporary styled buildings that are merged harmoniously with the lush landscape have many green features to flaunt.

The beautiful eco-residences are made mostly from wood and 100% recyclable materials. They feature energy-efficient design, roof-mounted photovoltaics, and rainwater collection systems. The undulating roof allows for cross ventilation and few vertical supports. Complementing the surrounding greenery and enhancing the aesthetics of the residences are walls with pockets of tropical vegetation.
