Herbs have been adding flavor and aroma to our food for years, but the herbs available in the market no longer have that rich quality to them that they once flaunted. To bring that essence back, industrial designer Ana Arguezo has designed a unique herb growing system that allows dwellers to produce their own herbs, that too without consuming much space. Dubbed the “Spice-Versa,” this indoor hydroponic herb growing system works by using Plant Gel technology. Each planting pot in this petite grower is some 6 inches deep and 4.5 inches wide to produce high-quality and healthy herbs.
The biodegradable Plant Gel technology that replaces the soil is capable of absorbing water and providing the necessary nutrients for healthy plants. Using this technology means watering the plants every 4-6 weeks, making it water efficient. It also features a grow light that helps in plant growth. The Spice-Versa comes with optional herb cutter, snips and cutting board set. Bringing this good-looking herb growing system into your dwelling means growing fresh, fragrance-filled herbs within your living space that too without taking up much space and without complications.
