In this article I am listing the mid-segment (Rs 10,000 – Rs 20,000) Android smart phones not only these phones offer all the bells and whistles that you can expect we have quite a few models that would suit the taste for every kind of consumer.
In this segment the minimum specs to qualify for an Android phone are a bit higher, unlike the earlier budget android phones the screen should be capacitive apart from that it should support a minimum of HVGA resolution, I have not listed Android phones that are running anything lower than Froyo (2.2) coz I believe any new Android phones that you buy in 2011 should ship with Android 2.2, the exception to that is Motorola Defy it’s just listed coz the hardware in that phone is awesome but still runs Android 2.1 but is expected to get Android 2.2 Froyo update, I would start moving from the lowest priced to the higher priced android phones.
